Juan Sotolongo is a commercial real estate broker with over 12 years of experience in South Florida sales and leasing. He focuses on multifamily and development sites, with additional experience in retail, office, and industrial properties across Miami-Dade County.

Juan began his career at Mayor Realty, a local mom-and-pop brokerage where he spent three to four years learning the fundamentals of real estate sales and property management. He then spent nearly three years at Marcus & Millichap, where he built his foundation in investment sales and developed the prospecting discipline that still drives his business today. Over nearly six years at Compass, he came to appreciate the value of collaboration, working effectively across a wide network of agents and clients, and the role that strong marketing plays in winning and executing deals.

Juan is now a Broker Associate at Gridline Properties, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage based in Miami’s urban core. The firm specializes in geographic driven brokerage services that include landlord and tenant representation, strategic real estate planning, and investment sales and dispositions. Gridline’s urban core focus and emphasis on long-term client relationships align with how Juan works: deep submarket knowledge, hands-on execution across both investment sales and leasing, and a team-first culture that lets him deliver more for his clients.

Outside of work, Juan is a level 3 ranked padel player and a passionate traveler who is always planning the next trip. His favorite destination to date has been Japan.
